Purchasing Manager

Heading up the Purchasing and Inventory functions, leading a team of 3, you will develop and execute a supply chain strategy to drive optimal customer service, more agile responsiveness and improved pricing and terms. The successful candidate:

  • Be dynamic with the ability to work to deadlines with minimal guidance
  • Min. 5 years management experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Accomplished negotiator with proven track record.  Familiar with ERP.
  • A well rounded person capable of working in cross functional teams

Must be self-motivated, innovative, able to work alone or as part of a larger team and willing to undertake other activities outside of their primary roles as needs arise.  C.I.P.S membership an advantage but not essential.

Competitive remuneration package.  38 hour, 4 ½ day week (Friday afternoon off).

Apprenticeship Programme

As part of our commitment in developing and supporting career opportunities for young people on the Island, we will be offering two placements on our highly successful apprenticeship scheme from September this year.

By joining our apprenticeship scheme you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced production operatives whilst learning basic skills and assemblies in machinery, fitting, fabrication and welding. One of the roles will also involve working alongside our engineering department.
